October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and many websites will be turning pink for the month to promote awareness. Most people have been touched by this disease, I lost a friend to breast cancer a couple of years ago. She was young and had 2 children, and her cancer was not found early and spread before she even knew she had it. The key to fighting this disease is early detection, that is why Breast Cancer Awareness Month is so important. If you would like to participate, visit Pink for October to find out more.

Since you've already gone pink, perhaps you'd also like to also take part in our month-long contest?
There is also a "Share Your Story" segment where you can share a true story, or encourage your friend/family/neighbour/colleague to share theirs.
